The nurse or Doctor can refer you to the following clinics which are held at the surgery:-
The Practice Nurse does smear tests by appointment only. The Doctors encourage you to have your smear done by the Practice Nurse. Occasionally in special circumstances (such as following a hysterectomy) Dr Leach will do the smear. When making an appointment for a smear test, please inform the receptionist that this is what you require. We and the PCT do run a recall scheme so you will be reminded when your next smear is due.
Our Health Care Assistant is available for Health Checks, BP checks and blood tests. Housebound patients can be visited at home by prior arrangement.
Our Phlebotomist is available for blood tests every Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings, by appointment.
